Dr. Joseph completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Akron in just two years with honors, followed by earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. He completed his training in General and Orthopedic Surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York, and subsequently pursued fellowship training at the prestigious Spine Institute of New York under renowned spine surgeon Dr. Michael Neuwirth.
There, he specialized in scoliosis and complex spinal deformities, as well as degenerative disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine, with a strong emphasis on revision spine surgery—a field in which he continues to be recognized as a national leader.
