PA school at South University Tampa
Morgan is a vital part of our team and brings a broad range of skills to the patients, as well as lighting up the room when she walks in!
Morgan was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Growing up, she knew she wanted to work in medicine because she loved interacting with people and excelled in her science courses. Sports also played an influence in her life from a young age which piqued her interest in sports medicine and orthopaedics.
In high school she was awarded Female Athlete of the Year for the city of Redmond, WA as a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track. In college, she played club soccer and was the intramural chair for her sorority, ZTA at Baylor University in Texas.
After graduating from Baylor University, Morgan worked as a certified nursing assistant in a subacute care center. Before matriculating at South University Tampa for Physician Assistant School she moved to Dallas, TX and earned her phlebotomy certification while working at Prestonwood Golf Club.
During PA school at South University Tampa, Morgan gained experience in two surgical specialties, general and orthopaedic surgery, assisting in multiple surgeries. She is excited to be a part of Joseph Spine where she will continue to pursue her passion of serving patients in the clinic and assisting in the operating room.
In her personal time, she continues to enjoy recreational soccer. She loves to golf with her family, relax at the beach, and spend time with her boyfriend, friends, and her dog, Bear.
